Didn't the Vikings trade up in the 5th to get this bum #### kicker? That's where everyone's gripe should be. Not taking a lineman in that spot. WHAT A WASTE! They're about to cut this guy and the only thing he contributed to was the continual kicking woes for this franchise.

I'll never ever feel confident about a FG from any distance..ever.




P.S. I understand the tie was due to other things as well (Treadwell and his drops, getting whooped in the trenches), but the point is...#### kickers.

If the Vikings front office truly believes this is a Super Bowl winning roster, then they need to swallow their pride and call Kai Forbath. He may not be a younger Adam Vinatieri but he is better then what we have.

Forbath is a know quantity, Dan Bailey is not.

Dan Bailey is the 2nd most accurate kicker in NFL history.

I don't really care who it so long as they can make a FG when it matters.

Carlson was a very good prospect coming out. I guess you just never know who will perform plunder pressure. At least we didn't spend a 2nd on him like the Bucs with Aguayo or whatever his name was. I really hope they make a move before this costs us again.

It sounds like Bailey is asking for a lot of money -- or more than a team is wanting to spend on a kicker. Good for him though...he has all the leverage right now with how bad some of these kickers are right now.

No arguments from me me that Minny got a new kicker. I get no one unit, player, or play will win or lose a game but missing three game winning field goals shows the kid wasn't ready for prime time, just yet. Better to have someone who you know can handle the grind when chips hit the fan.
