For years, the Vikings have come out to Led Zeppelin. I can't remember the track but their general playlist is kind of out dated with things like: Welcome To The Jungle, Enter Sandman, Back in Black, and whatever is top 40. I say...think outside the box
My friend made a hilarious video of Vikes coming out to "Mad World".
1.) In a more epic/depressing note they should come out to this: Sigur Ros - "Hoppipolla"
I dont know how many are familiar with the band Five Finger Death Punch but they have a song "Lift Me Up", and it kicks azz! It would be perfect.
Then when the opposing team gets a penalty or turns the ball over they could play "The Hangman's Body Count" by Volbeat. Volbeat also has a song "Warriors Call" which could also be used for the entrance song. It actually mentions a Viking in the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9Sw4BOFnfo

Allow me to speak truth here: Led Zeppelin is NEVER outdated. I know a lot of TEENAGERS who are fans right now.

What lyrics could better define VIKINGS?

They've used it for years and overall playlist is late 80's early 90's pop songs.
p.s. give me Sabbath over Zeppelin any day
