I do believe the vikings will draft a Qb in the upcoming draft, but for some reason i'd not be surprised if the vikings tried to keep JOSH FREEMAN with the new regime.

I predict Josh Freeman will remain with the vikings.

Until there are any other developments then I'm going with Cassel.

Cassel or one of these rooks coming in, if any.

If we draft a QB in the first round, it will be them. If we don't, it will be Cassel.

i'm guessing cassel in a steve deberg player-coach like capacity.

I think Bridgewater is gonna slip to us. he keeps moving down the draft board. And there is alot of talk about scouts not liking his lower body?

Turner comes in and we sign Freeman and he starts, Shaub from Houston is signed as backup after being released, and we draft the kid from Eastern Illinois to start grooming for the future.

QB from Eastern Illinois is going to be a stud is what thwey are saying, But right now he won't go higher than 4th round so draft him with SEattle's 3rd

That sounds great to me, PurpleScout. An experienced coach like Turner could maybe do something with Freeman.

I'm gonna go with Cassel, though. Now that we got Zim, I'm thinking we go defense with the first two picks. Then one of the third rounders will be a QB (or traded for a QB). Hopefully the guy can pull a Russell Wilson and start right away, but most likely Cassel will be the starter right away.

Hell no. I think this is a year the team needs to sit and see how things shake out. No wheeling and dealing in the early rounds. If a top QB they like falls to them at 8, take em. Otherwise go best defensive player available

They wont get Teddy, and I doubt they start him if they did. They will do things a bit differently this year. I believe they start Cassel, get a FA (or worse, keep Ponder) and draft a QB. But the QB will be Mettenberger or someone like that. A project. Maybe Murray. Or even AJ. I would love Jimmy, but his draft stock is rising like Bortles.

Ponder sold his 8 bathroom house (must be a bed wetter). Unless he has two Minnesota houses, he's already gone.

As was noted before, that house had been on the market before this season even began. They were just moving to a different location.
