Cause he recovers his own fumble after running into his own guy?

Id even take Mariota over him, heck even Boyd. I do not like or think Johnny FB would do well for the Vikes.

No cuz he puts up incredible numbers day in and day out. Torched Alabama's top ranked defense twice. He is a winner man.

Good, we haven't had any threads on who to draft next season. I'm glad someone posted something finally.

Hey thread cop cuz I wanted this thread to be about Manziel. Not Bridgewater, Boyd, Mariota, Hundley, etc etc etc. Give me some reasons why he would not be good in purple.

Ok. Reasonable answer.

You've been on the board for awhile... you honestly think this won't turn into a thread about someone else? Heck, I guarantee within 10 posts it turns into a Ponder thread, or at the very least, a Viking Management bashing thread.

I just have issues with how lax the board has been lately. There used to be more structure, and maybe I just need to get used to the new style.

He could be had in the 2nd round, and this is exactly what the Vikings have been needing since Chester Taylor left for free agency 3 years ago: a running back who can catch passes and make people miss.

No offense but I'm pretty sure that underlined part is against the rules.

That's a great clip. I love the way he reacts after the fumble (was that technically a fumble?) by instantly recomposing himself. Notice that beautiful pass was thrown while he was rolling to his left and was right on the money. I agree, I'd like to see him in purple.

For PurpleMustReign - It's not going to happen though. Knowing our current front office's ineptitude, they'll trade down for more picks, get scared because QBs are flying off the board, and then go for a huge stretch by picking a QB about 2 rounds before he should be drafted. It's obvious that all they want is another Ponder to groom, and we see how well that worked with the current Ponder.

The Vikings ran out of grooming time with this current cast of bums and misfits. Time for all in, the initial fanbase is dropping like flies, and for the second time in 3 years the lions are kicking our ####. They cannot win a Super Bowl before us.

Gino Torretta was a winner in college, so was Tim Tebow... and Tim Couch... and Ryan Leaf.
