Vikes record with Cassel?

I suppose 0-4 could be a possibility because they might have still lost the first 3 and then also lost today (Cassel more tired, Steelers with 3 more games of film on him, etc) but let's assume they still would have won today. I say 3-1!!!

We easily beat the Browns and Bears if Cassel plays like he did today. And we DID beat the Steelers with Cassel. The only question is the Detroit game. I think we might win that game too because Detroit sure tried to give us that game with mistakes and Ponder couldn't make em pay. Instead of a 14-13 lead at half, we probably lead 24-13 and it's a totally different 2nd half. I say 3-1, maybe 4-0, but again that's based on how solid he looked today. It's possible he could have played worse than Ponder in any of those games too.

I don't know if I care to even speculate about this. It's easy to say they would be better, but the course of the game can probably change infinitely with different players involved if we were given the luxury of going back in time.
I feel 2-2 is the easiest answer simply because they probably do win one of those games, but too many holes on D for them to come out winning them all.

I choose 2-2 because of the D factor but Cassel could have easily brought us a win
against the bears as well as the Browns

I can think of several passes Ponder didn't make that eventually had a big say in us losing for sure 2 games this year. I feel Cassel would have made those throws. I voted 3-1.

This kind of "what if" can make a man/fan crazy, therefore, who knows. The one thing to take out of the beginning of the season is that even at 0-3 or 1-3, all hope is "not" lost. It takes 6 games to really begin to figure out the true contenders and weak sisters. Those at 3-3 can still shift fear into the minds of the opponents, especially with a confident passing attack and AP threatening! Let's hope for 3-3 at the end of week 6!

I went with 2-2, just because changing basically any factor likely would have resulted in us winning at least one of the last two. Then again, we also could have just ended up losing by more.

I didn't vote. I know this is a forum for this kind of speculation, but you can also say "vote on the Vkings record if the defense made a stop on the final drive." Cassel could not have played any part in that, and I think it is useless to think about. The Vikings are 1-3. And nothing can change that. I'm more concerned with what their record will be going forward.

The bigger problem IMO is the defense. Yesterday was the only 2nd half lead we've held onto (and barely).
