Beats having all those years of giving up punt returns and seeing Bobby Fair Catch Wade! Glad we chose Priefer over Brain Murphy!

They should have just given it to Walsh.

while a fair point, I wouldn't undervalue the incredible job he's done with our coverage teams.

special teams was amazing last year:

Walsh, the best regular season for a kicker of all time.

Walsh, kickoffs, ranked #1 or #2 depending on how you measure it.

Kick coverage, not sure of this stat but must be top 3.

Punt returns, Sherels had only 1 fumble, excellent dec making, and helped win at least 1 game (DET), if memory serves he had another huge return too

punt coverage, solid..

only avg part was our punter, really hoping we get brad wing.

I liked Berrian too, but once 2010 came it seemed like he stopped caring. He never lived up to his outrageous contract (and was never going too), but he was relatively solid in 2008 and 2009.
Hey, I was gonna mention that! :)

Regarding BB: he and Favre never seemed to be on the same page. I don't know if that had anything to do with his lack of performance throughout 2009-2010, but one has to wonder. By 2011, it obvious that whatever talent Bernard had was gone and he was subsequently cut. I always liked the guy. Hell, I got his jersey immediately after we signed him in 2008!
