I keep coming back to these films. They crack me up even after multiple viewings.

For the most part, that is correct, but he didn't write all of the the films, and the screenplay is a big deal. Jason Segal wrote Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg wrote Superbad. Judd Apatow and Steve Carell did write The 40 Year Old Virgin.

I have not seen Knocked Up or Funny People. Year One didn't get great reviews, but I'll rent it from the Red Box for a buck at McLovin, I mean, McDonalds.

Talladega Nights and The Anchor Man are good Apatow films too even though I'm not into NASCAR or newscasters.

The Larry Sanders Show and Freaks and Geeks on television were both Apatow productions as well.

Grand Torino. Not sure if this is a true comedy but there are a lot of funny parts and it's one of the best movies I've seen in a while.

You have RedBox at McD's by you? Around here, they're all at grocery stores and none at McD's. Guessing maybe they were at McD's originally, but not anymore. I know McD's started them (and their corp offices are still in close proximity to McD's HQ).

love the grand torino movie. my first car was a 1973 grand torino sport.looked just like that one.brought back a few memories

Its all fun and games until someone sticks something in you that you don't want stuck in you.

Ghost Town and Last Chance Harvey were cute. They are not the same kind of film as the one's above though. They are more like date movies.

I Love You Man was a nice film as well, but not quite a romantic comedy.

The Exorcist., The Ring, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Carrie, Rosemary's Baby, The Shining, Psycho, Red Dragon

A lot of the ones I was thinking of are already listed but in addition: Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original), The Omen, The Grudge (Japanese version), Saw, Seven.

Edit: On a side note, saw Paranormal Activity last night. It was alright I guess. They did a good job considering their budget was something like $12,000 but I'd wait until it comes out on DVD.

The shaky camera (think Blair Witch) kinda made me sick at times too but at least they used a tripod for some parts of the movie.

Anybody see "Drag Me To Hell?" Any good?

did anybody go see mj's "this is it"? it really is incredible. has nothing to do with his death, its not a memorial or whatever, but instead focuses on the creative and musical genius he truly was while preparing for the 50 date london stretch. definitely entertaining. he's a funny dude too.
