Now that our draft is over we can get ready for Madden 09. The first stage is to predict the ratings. In a few months or so I will post the unoffical ratings. Finally, we can all discuss the game here.

I also think that there will be a thing were by winning the superbowl or something it ill unlock Brett Farve with 99 everything. And he can be like assigned to your team (Im not a Farve Fan i respect him as a player but when we need him to lose or he against vikings he needs his head crushed .

Here are the unofficial, official ratings if you will. We are the first two thumbnails. These are unoffical, and probably will change by August.

Rodgers 83 and Jackson 79??

95 is too low for Peterson. I say 97. I can only see the logic for LT being a higher rated back. Not Westbrook (He's now the most overrated underrated player in the league ).

What gets me worked up is how Vince Young is 88 overall and Tarvaris is only 79. Young and Jackson have similar stats. Jackson is also a speed QB weapon like Vince. Also, Adrian Peterson should be 96. His awareness should have risen a lot. Therefore, he should be at least 96. Girffin's rating didn't rise a bit either. Finally, I am surprised with John David Booty's rating. I thought for sure he would be 72-74.

Ratings are ridiculous when Tom Brady has the highest arm strength in the league at 99.

Madden 09 will not be out on the PC, so it is a no no for me.

i'll wait till tuesday morn, but i am excited for sure. i dont know about u hardcore vikes fan, but i sure miss the days of the 2K series. it really pissed me off when madden got nervous and bought them out. cause if u ever played 2K5 you will know what i mean. the presentation was so ahead of its time, something that even madden 09 STILL CANT seem to manage. i heard its exactly the same as 08, just better gameplay, which hey i'll take it. but i like presentation too, and i think if 2K was still making games, 2k9 would be so ahead of madden it would be sick. oh well. madden will do

I'm all about franchise, online and off. And *sigh* looks like Madden screwed that up too. Throwing in a glorified online tournament mode. etc. I heard 2k did a good job on that too. Really wish Madden would give fans something that care about things other than just on the field game play.

yeah demi, i read earlier from someone who already has the game that the superbowl is the same as last year, and the playoffs too, nothing special. madden is horrible. how can they not make the superbowl feel like the superbowl. the game is just blaah for franchise mode. the computer never generates trades, signs players, releases players, etc. you, the user are the only person who makes any moves. and the offseason is a joke too. u can pretty much get any player u want in free agency, cant talk players out of retirement, and even worse...the draft. pretty much useless. and not to bring race into this, but the players names in the draft....there are no white QB's named Tyrell, or Tyrone, or Demarcus or Jamarcus for that matter. those are all predominantly african american names. so then why are all the white guys named those names? For the African Americans in the game they can get away with a name like Bob Smith, but a white guy cant get away with a name like Tyrone Biggums. just little details like that and how if u edit ur player all his draft info gets set back to Aquired: free agent, and drafted: NA. i heard they finally fixed the 2x interception glitch that they have had since madden 07. took them 2 years to figure that out. anyways im done ranting. have no choice but to play it.
