Zimmer raved about Eric Kendricks progress from rookie year: "It was like he had too much coffee to drink, and now he's settled down."
Kendricks with an impressive pick today

I just can't imagine why.. he is just awful.. awful.
Him being drafted was as much a head scratcher as it is that "experts" have Mitch Leidner being a potential first round pick...What?!

Vikings roster moves, all pretty much expected so far.
The Minnesota Vikings have announced that the club has placed QB Taylor Heinicke on the Non-Football Injury – Remains on Active List.

The Vikings have placed G Mike Harris Non-Football Illness – Remains on Active List.

The Vikings have placed DT Kenrick Ellis and TE Rhett Ellison on the Physically Unable to Perform – Remain on Active List.

The #Vikings activated DT Kenrick Ellis from the PUP list today. He'll practice. Only player left on that list is tight end Rhett Ellison.

Good.
Looks like Shamar Stephen is taking second team nose reps, even with Kenrick Ellis healthy.

Zimmer: Crichton looked pretty good (sliding to DT). Sounds like this shift to DT is permanent "best chance to make the team"

Zimmer: we've changed Kalil's technique some; he was turning too soon
Mike Zimmer says the #Vikings have changed Matt Kalil's technique and that is one reason why he's looking so good. Mike Zimmer said Matt Kalil was turning too soon Tony Sparano has been working on that for awhile But Zimmer said Kalil had some slipups Sat.
