Ponder had happy feet and lots of other problems that people would jump on him for, but I think the worst thing we did to him was tell him to play it safe with the ball. If you don't throw it and feel the mistakes you never learn what you can and cant do. And what ends up happening is you throw some picks and you don't throw TDs.

Look at the Peyton manning rookie season, or Andrew luck coming into the league, both guys threw a lot of picks early (luck still does), but they threw a lot of TDs, and eventually they learned what they couldn't throw and what they could and cut down on those INTs.
