Let Teddy keep getting pounded until he learns to make a backyard football eaque simple throw

I would say it was a bad throw. It didn't look like CP would have had much of a chance on it, even if he laid out - which shouldn't happen if he is that wide open. If anything, make CP come back for it.Mothman wrote:Interesting: I heard the radio call of the missed deep pass to Patterson and PA and Bercich were very critical of Bridgewater, saying the pass was "unacceptable".
Then I saw the play on NFL Red Zone and the host was focused on Patterson's frustrated reaction. He seemed to think Patterson was frustrated because he may have lost the ball in the sun. I interpreted it as frustration that the pass was overthrown but now I want to see the play again. Was it a catchable pass that CP lost track of or was it just a bad throw?
Maybe if he laid out for it but unacceptable to have no one within 15 yards of you and miss the throw.Mothman wrote:Interesting: I heard the radio call of the missed deep pass to Patterson and PA and Bercich were very critical of Bridgewater, saying the pass was "unacceptable".

I was screaming at CP to lay out for it, but not sure if it really was catchable.Mothman wrote:Interesting: I heard the radio call of the missed deep pass to Patterson and PA and Bercich were very critical of Bridgewater, saying the pass was "unacceptable".

Yeah it did seem like a weird reaction and the ball only landed like 4 yards in front of him.Mothman wrote:Interesting: I heard the radio call of the missed deep pass to Patterson and PA and Bercich were very critical of Bridgewater, saying the pass was "unacceptable".

Zone blocking scheme, Kalil was probably responsible for the edge.TSonn wrote:
I never played o-line, why would he pass him and then not help when there is no one else to block on that side?
Exactly. If the man goes into Johnson's zone its his responsibility. He messed up not KalilS197 wrote: Zone blocking scheme, Kalil was probably responsible for the edge.
You cannot get beat across your face. You cannot give a single punch and not move your feet. That is pretty unacceptable IMO.S197 wrote: Zone blocking scheme, Kalil was probably responsible for the edge.
