Punter Tom Hackett cut by the Jets. I guess we're not interested
He's the punter a lot of people liked.

Folks signs with Kansas City. So much for that option. We could be in trouble for QB depth. However Dallas is in even more trouble

How do those idiots not throw everything they can at Foles? Romo is hurt just about every year and they have zilch behind him. I'm glad I'm not a Cowboy fan because I would be snapping right now

Foles said he preferred Chiefs or Vikings. Vikings said they wasn't getting in a bidding war.
Hope it doesn't come back to bite us in the arse.

Edit: FA QB Nick Foles agreed to terms with the #KCChiefs, per @MikeGarafolo, and I'm told he also had offers from the #Cowboys & #Vikings.

I am really nervous now if Teddy gets hurt...

In this day and age you really need a decent backup.
I can only imagine that Zimmer & Rick are so pissed at Heinicke because this preseason they was going to see what he had, and maybe thought he was going to take the next step.

We have signed RB Kevin Monangai. Monangai, a 5'8", 209 lb., running back, played college ball at Villanova and spent multiple stints on the Eagles practice squad last year.

I agree. There has to be some QBs out there we could go after. Anyone have a current FA list?

I know it won't be popular, but I'd be okay with bringing Ponder back as a backup. I always felt he would be best suited for that roll.

I doubt we do anything. We'll keep Hill and probably PUP Heineke. We may look at other guys after final roster cuts. But like most teams, if the starter goes down for a length of time you're probably not making it to the SB anyway.

No way. I don't think we need any of the previous guys back, but I'd bring back Cassel or Rosenfels before ponder. The cowboys didn't do well with Cassel, but he still got more playing time there than Ponder did.

One would think with all these former head coaches and OCs on the staff there must be some QBs on the market or deep on rosters who these guys are somewhat familiar with.

I wonder if this is the year the team goes with 2 QBs...
