Agreed. Time ti draft our franchise qb. To bad we signed Freeman and NEVER game up the chance to play. He is not hurt and should have started today! I wish I was Josh, making 2 million for sitting on the bench,

I think it's highly likely he plays next week.
the vikings have completely botched the QB situation since they started freeman in the NY game. cassel should have started that game and should still be the starter since freeman isn't ready. cassel has gotten the shaft IMO, although ponder actually had a reasonably good game today.

Except for the 'Fail' Mary at the end.

Oh... and Peterson's TD was one of the finest runs I've ever seen him, or any other running back, make. It was simply incredible.
agreed, after the missed XP peterson said something along the lines of "missed the f*ing extra point?!". the poor guy deserves better, like a QB who can reach the endzone from midfield.

Which made the game worth watching (just that play alone) IMHO.

indeed. it's too bad the game ended the way it did because the vikings got absolutely embarrassed the last 3 games in a row and a road game against a team with some decent weapons could have been an unmitigated disaster. i said during the game that i was very proud of their effort today and i still am. there's just something about this team that completely changes in the final minutes. you could make the argument the vikings should certainly have at least 3 wins
aside from the head scratching missed XP, the biggest blunder was patterson fumbling the kickoff which led to the strip fumble for a TD. the guy has been great all year, but that allowed dallas to score 14 points in the span of about 4 minutes. even though we recovered, we essentially gifted them 7 points right there.

WORST hail mary EVER!
It's too bad the Seahawks Packers game already had the "fail mary" because Ponders final duck today should be called the "fail mary". The ball literally only traveled 50 yards in the air, from his own 45 the ball hit the turf at the 5, a full 10 yards short of the nearest receiver. Pathetic.
