I thought they were letting go of Terrance Newman, because he’s a dinosaur.PurpleKoolaid wrote:####, Rick let Zimmer talk him into a CB which isnt close to the BPA or what we needed. Hate the pick. Basically giving up on Alexander. Damnit Rick

Not sure yet. This might reflect that they're moving on or he told them he's retiring. The door was still open on one more season before the draft from what I read.kidfozzy. wrote:I thought they were letting go of Terrance Newman, because he’s a dinosaur.PurpleKoolaid wrote:####, Rick let Zimmer talk him into a CB which isnt close to the BPA or what we needed. @Eric_L_Smith
#UCF CB Mike Hughes in 2017:
Started 11 games with 49 tackles with 4 INTs, including one returned for a touchdown. Returned 14 punts for 233 yards and a touchdown; returned 20 kickoffs for 635 yards and two touchdowns; All-Conference First-Team (CB) and Second-Team (returner).
They guys on FOX said 15th overall on the board, but he is way too frigging small for that. I doubt we see him play for 2 years. I havent hated a pick so much in ages.dead_poet wrote:#33 overall on the consensus big board808vikingsfan wrote:What round was Hughes projected to go?
@AaronWilson_NFL Central Florida CB Mike Hughes. He was supposed to go higher, but off-field concerns from his days at North Carolina hurt his stock a bit
