Well, there you have it, the two guys we really liked were gone, so it was between Parker and Waynes. Let the Parker v. Waynes conversation begin! :flamed:

Parker would have been the better pick, and BPA. INSTANT improvement on the team, a real #1 WR. Waynes is going to have a long learning curve. And I really hope he can cover NFL WRs.

And, since Zimmer is such a guru with CBs, why not pick one later, and have Zimmer coach him up? Parker didnt need any coaching.

Parker is a horrible fit for this offense...

Why don't they just dress Zygi and Zimmer can coach him up? Parker didn't need any coaching because his ceiling isn't that high. Wayne's is. You can't coach 4.31 speed. Or height. You can coach the other stuff. You can work on technique.

It's more that you can get more out of Waynes through coaching than you can those other guys. Including Parker. They drafted a 7 they hope they can coach to a 10, instead of an 8 that's likely not going much further.

They went with a speed guy, and a freakish athlete. Again. Parker was the solid pick in that spot. We need him after finding out CP is a dud. And anyone who thinks Wallace is our #1, better put down the pipe. If Waynes can actually cover, I will gladly eat crow. I know Parker will be a star, and he can adapt to any offense. I expect Waynes to get twice as many penalties as Rhodes did. Hopefully he can turn out like Rhodes in the end.
