Edit: sorry if these have been posted already but this work pc is acting retarded with images
Thanks for the link. That Norseman re-design is cool, although I don't like the color changes. Making everything more aggressive is very much the style du jour but I don't always think it's better.
Anyway, they did a nice job.
The re-worked helmet does nothing for me. I hate the color choices and the horn re-design is too heavy-handed for my taste.

It is unfortunate that I spent a lot of money on an authentic Harrison Smith jersey last June for basically a one year rental. Oh well. I hope the new jerseys bring back some of the old elements. I for one would love to see the norseman return on the sleeves.

ugh....not sure i like that helmet. i'm not a big uniform critic. but i like the helmet of old, and the attitude of old school.
Are these the official new helmets? I'm not a fan of the intersecting black and purple. Just keep the solid purple. I actually think uniforms are quite important and critique them probably more than most. I definitely agree that the old school style is much better (save those Denver or Pittsburgh throwbacks they've used sparingly in the past couple seasons). Socks even matter. When I lived in Chicago I even considered getting a pair of the Bears socks because I loved the pinstripe design so much. Something great about the simplicity of solid colors and pinstripes for football uniforms.

I'm not a fan of the space-viking remake. Looks a little too cartoony and I think the "aggressiveness" of some of the new logos make them look more comical than imposing. I'm not a fan of these new colors for the helmets either. The purple background to the horns is much better, too much gold makes it look really tacky. I understand that its fun to play with the designs and update them but its unfortunate when they have a good thing going to change it just for the sake of selling more merchandise. I didn't mind the recent update to the helmet or the Norseman as they were slight changes that really didn't affect the overall style but maybe I'm too much of a fashion critic when it comes to these things:)
I'm not a fan of the behance.net designs. The big A in the helmet makes me wonder if it's meant to be Anaheim Vikings. The Wordmark, logo, etc all look like Area league football rather than NFL. And BTW, anyone wanting to discus the helmet I posted needs to check out the link too.

Why not wear the Smith jersey anyway? It's still a Vikings jersey. I still wear my old Vikings jerseys even though they don't reflect the current uniform design and I just bought an AD road jersey last Fall. there's no way I'm going to stop wearing it just because there's been another uniform change!

Maybe... but I'm with you. I think these things are important. Design matters!

Oh, no, don't get me wrong, I am still going to wear the jersey! I wore it this year to the Titans game and plan to wear it to all future home games unless I decide to get a new authentic jersey. You are talking to a guy that wore his Randy Moss, Duante Culpepper, Darren Sharper, and first Adrian Peterson jerseys into submission.
All I was saying it is was unfortunate for me to buy a bunch of Nike jerseys this past year and now the design is changing again. I would have rather spent the money on the new uniforms if I had known they were going to change the jerseys.
