The usual "fans" dogging Childress, Tahi, Johnson, the defense and anything they can find to criticize and seem to love doing it.
As the game progresses and Tahi starts making plays, and Tyrell Johnson makes some plays then they look for other sources, anything they can find to criticize
The fact was the Vikes played a lousy team but did what they should have, won big. The plays were very efficent and game plan sublime. The offense mixed up the run and pass and were not at all predictable.
Farve played well and the O-line did a good job. The special teams played a great game and Kudos to the whole team.
Good win

we'll be wanting to hang favre and childress if the wheels start coming off. i have the rope already.

OOO K! I was wondering, I has asked someone here if KC used to be a texas team and i was told no. But that guy is idiot I guess. I trust all of you way more then any one person in FL. haha.
does anyone know the history of these rancid Denver throwbacks?
Except, I'm in Florida... soflavike = South Florida Vike
But, I'm still right on this one.
Lamar Hunt founded the AFL and owned the Dallas Texans and later moved them to KC (in 1963).

Agreed.
I thought the secondary looked a little weak at times, but they also had a couple of good plays. I would like to see us improve in that area, though...

dont we feel like hypocrites when we win and we love childress and favre now? kind of like josh mcdaniels and brandon marshall. i guess winning cures all.

rams turning the ball over made us look better.

I think the criticism is fair, we did beat some bad teams by some good margins but we play a good Baltimore and Pittsburg team back to back. Big Ben could very well have a field day with our secondary. There is good reason to be concerned.

youre right. our pass coverage better tighten up when we face big ben and joe flacco.

Bend don't break. Thats what I see.
I do agree our pass defense is something that has to be stepped up.

5-0! It's great, but also expected. But what I am impressed with so far, is we are beating the teams we are supposed to, and not "barely" beating them. Even though our Defense gave up alot of yds, we still held them to 10pts, and 7 of them were against our 2nd team. I REALLY am impressed with Chilli keeping the foot on the gas and not just going into "predictable Chilli ball". We put up 38 points when we were supposed to put up 38 points. Nice job Chilli.
Our offense looked pretty good again today, and we still have a ways to go to be fully in sync. #4 had a horrible INT, but he does that from time to time, let's just hope he keeps them to a minimum. That was bad. Still would like to see our running lanes open up more. It seems we've taken a step back in run-blocking, but pass-protection has improved.
How weird is it that our Defense appears to be our soft spot? Granted, we only gave up 10 points and 7 vs our 2nd teamers, we still gave up alot of yds, and were gifted a couple TOs. But this is the NFL, and you can't discount any of that. I still believe our Safety play is our biggest weakness. Tyrell had a couple nice plays late, but he also had some bad plays. So did Madieu. And our run D has also taken a step back this yr. I was also a bit surprised by our lack of sacks; sure Boller is more mobile, but still.
A great start to the season, but now we find out what we're made of: Baltimore, Pittsburgh and the Cheeseheads. I think we have the ability to win all 3 of these games, as all three have shown that they are not as strong as they appeared at the start of the season.

the horrible rams actually had more total yards and won the time of possession.

the vikes would definately not be 5-0 with tjack or sage. favres makes the correct adjustments and right throws. favre is the reason we are 5-0. the vikings defense hasnt played exceptionally well and AD hasnt been running wild as of late. the rams actually had more rushing yards and about the same amount of passing yards, and the rams won the T.O.P.
i'm glad the rams decided to turn the ball over. the vikes better buckle up when they play the steelers and ravens.

I agree with Mothman... you can disagree with any of us and tell us why you do, but don't question our loyalty as fans because we say something negative about the coaching or the team's play. We're often wrong, sometimes right, but we all want the Vikes to win a Super Bowl before we die.
