We weren't embarassed but played very poorly. It's hard to keep Ponder in there and I've been a supporter of his. QB controversy, this loss sucks.
We're showing up to a gun battle with a cap gun.

You know that means our defense has to stop the opposing offense, right?
We rarely get that to happen.
Maybe Webb will help them get some rest.

I'd rather see MBT...we know what we have in Webb. We just need some semblance of a passing game to get back to our first five game ways imo.

Atleast Webb is fun to watch.
And no, we don't know what we have in Webb. I was for giving him a full season instead of drafting a QB [Ponder], wish we gave him a chance.

And when has he ever stepped into his throws this year?

Ankle? Really?
How about clueless?

The real tragedy of this season is the 5 wins the Vikings have. That will be just enough to take them out of prime-time position in the draft. They'll be picking around 7-10 and that will be out of the prime-time QB prospects.

I think the most frustrating thing about this regression by Ponder is that we all know Frasier will not replace him with Joe Webb, even for just a series. It is really too bad because the Vikings have a good team. But at the QB position, terrible play has led to the end of a decent season...

End Of Game
Vikes 20
Seahawks 30
Bad Game. Not for Peterson, but for the whole team in general.

We KNOW they are going to run and they still get 10 yards.
It happened against Tampa last week in Minnesota too!
Yeah, Ponder is struggling, but this defense is way more concerning.
No it isnt.

Defense sux for sure but Ponder is the weakest link its pretty obvious . The defense gets demoralized because they know they have no chance if we are down two scores its game over .

That's even more cynical even by this forum standards. He made some beautifully accurate throws before the ankle issue in practice a few weeks ago.

From 4-1 to 5-4.
What a pathetic turnaround to a promising season.

The defense has been on the field all but 24 minutes. Almost no defense can be effective without an offense to sustain a drive.

A lot of guys have stood behind this guy, including me. But he's regressed so far he's fallen off the map. Worst starting QB in the NFL right now.
Ankle. Total bullsh!t.
