I've always liked Ford. He's fairly athletic and has very reliable hands. CP stepped up big today too. I really love the way this defense looks. If we can build around Teddy, the future looks very bright.

As for defense, Barr, Floyd, and Griffen were beasts today. Joseph and Johnson made some plays as well. Greenway was a tackling machine as usual. Our corners did a great job on VJax

Good job guys, Barr is looking like a great pick. From here on out, I hope you kick the Packers and Bears #### and finish 2nd in the division every year and get a WC spot

Not sure what his stats are but BW made a bunch of huge throws on critical downs with pressure around him. I love the fact that no matter how bad his protection has been lately, he still sits in the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield. He has no intention of scrambling prematurely. I'm more impressed with him in this game than the ATL game.

That's a good comparison! I hadn't thought of it before but he is a lot like Blair.

I missed the radio broadcast of the second half but I was able to watch the brief OT on TV here. That play by Barr (and Smith) had me out of my seat cheering. That was a great finish and it was good to see them find a way to win a game they really needed to win after losing the lead late.

I agree. I understand why they call him GUMP now. He stands strong in that pocket and doesn't get rattled. Unlike someone that wears #7

He did the 2 minute drill, after having what I thought, was a rough game for him. That shows leadership, and he is able to let go of the bad plays. I was 100% sure we had lost the game. While I hate breaking in new QBs, Teddy is one Ive been excited to see. The guy already acts so sure of himself, he is going to be loved and a leader on this offense. Maybe not this year, but in the years to come.

Very glad for the win, but I was hoping we would handle Tampa a little better than that. I guess Washington will be a tough win next week also. they did seem to open up the downfield passing a bit in the second half. hopefully they continue that trend. I don't know how Teddy will get proficient at deeper passes if he never gets to throw them. That was good to see even though his completion percentage went down with the increase in deeper passes.
Kalil looked good today. He did give up the sack, but outside that he was solid. It is a step in the right direction.
Defense looked phenomenal until the fourth quarter.
Nice to pull out a win.

I'm sure the comments about TB would be totally different if the cornerback had picked off that pass, which he should have. Sometimes you need a little luck.

Doesn't change the fact that he made those tough 3rd down throws under pressure.

When they showed the replay of that pass it looked like it was tipped at the line which slowed it down and made it look much worse.

I did see that. But even so, I thought TB was late on his throw ( or Patterson was early on his break).

Yeah, TB still stared Patterson down and it would have been a bad throw regardless - the almost INT, though, was mostly because of the tip. That throw also came right after a very confusing call that Jennings going out of bounds did not stop the clock, so I think TB was mostly thinking throw it quick and get an incompletion to stop the clock.
