Re: Trent Williams
I was really suprised last night. I didn't post it on the board, but did tell it to another board member, that one of Williams current teammates reached out to the one I know and he said he was pretty sure that Williams was gonna be playing with Cousins again. So I was expecting it to happen.PacificNorseWest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 1:20 am NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Redskins LT Trent Williams declined the team's proposed trade to the Vikings.

Glad I didn't post it . Lol. I even said it didn't come straight from Williams so I won't say it.
I'm bummed because I was have access to a good friend a Vikes player. He said if Williams did go to us he would get us tickets and passes for us to get some access to meet some players, and he was gonna get him this really cool commemorative ball I have to him and get it signed by the team. Said that stuff happens all the time. Ppl bring stuff in from friends and family etc and guys sign stuff. Just cool stuff .
But it didn't happen so I just hope Cleveland, who reminds me so much of O'Neil, ends up turning out to work out as well as O'Neil has.
I never said he was coming here for sure. I was just doing my best to find out to keep u guys updated since I had a little extra insight.
Sorry, I tried to be a Rappaport lol. I will stick to bowhunting.
I just wanna die as a Super Bowl Champion Viking Fan!!

Re: Trent Williams
What bout Reiff, a 4th, and sign him to a good 1 year contract.
Williams gets out of Washington, gets to play and make $$ this year, and becomes an UFA next year to test the market without all of the complications. Win, Win, Win
Vikings upgrade at LT for this season, and give Ezra and year to learn, develop, and gain strength to start in 2021. Win, Win
thoughts????

Yeah this all sounds like the redskins trying to save face because of how idiotic they look. You are now going to once again pay a guy that isn’t going to play for you and got nothing out of him when you’re a team that desperately needs any pick you can get. They might as well release him at this point. Fricken moronsVikingPaul73 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 8:54 am https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/290 ... de-vikings

If Redskins do not find a trade partner today for Trent then Redskins are going to have to release TrentPondering Her Percy wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 9:31 amYeah this all sounds like the redskins trying to save face because of how idiotic they look. Re: Trent Williams
Good link. A whole bunch of conflicting information. Williams specifically said he had nothing to do with ending negotiations. The Vikings never offered more than 1 3rd day pick. Doesn't even say it was a 4th.

Sounds OK. Can Cleveland play guard and we keep both?VikingPaul73 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 8:59 am What bout Reiff, a 4th, and sign him to a good 1 year contract.

Re: Trent Williams
On Twitter they're saying Vikes are back in on him and he likely gets traded today.

A 5th and a 3rd... I probably would have dealt that.
