Accountability is an easy thing to admit when there's reasonable frustration.
That being said, all my post game comments have been positive.
Anywho, this loss is a bummer.

The only 'easy' game I would call would be the Bears. You really think we are going to win the last 4 games?

Yeah, Jaguars and Colts are juggernauts.
Move along, man. My bad for an obligingly optimistic post.

Jesus.

I'm sure you can find examples of other qbs getting hit the same way and getting the flag, but you can also find examples of other qbs getting hit and not getting the flag (like Cam Newton this year).

NFL refs suck in general. Let's not act like the Vikings didn't get some calls in the Arizona games. It is what it is. The Vikings didn't deserve to win that game. Too many damn mistakes.

3-1 from here on out.
I just hope our defense doesn't give up by the Colts game. Or sleep on them preparing for the GB game.
Jax on the road might be a trap or not a game at all. If we are still in the hunt, we get revenge on the Bears. If not, we don't care.

I'm done for the night. I just want to leave saying I'm Purple to the bitter end this year.
Adios all

I'm just saying with our offense there are no 'easy' games. I'm just being realistic. Jesus. Guess we will see just how easy those games are going to be.

I think the team would be far more dangerous with more consistency in all facets of the game. The offensive line has serious talent issues, but the entire team struggles with basic consistency and in my view all have contributed to the loses this year.
I can't argue with that. Several of our losses fall on the defense bending and breaking.

Some thoughts :
The Vikings D played absolutely out of their minds for Zim. They should be proud of their effort.
The officiating was garbage. That crew is trash.
I agree that the no-call on the hands to the face at the end was abysmal, it doesn't matter that the ball was already fired, or that it wasn't much of a hit at all, in the 'protect the QB with bubble-wrap' rules as they stand : THAT'S A PENALTY 7 DAYS A WEEK AND TWICE ON GAME DAY'.
There was ALL kinds of other shady stuff though. The hankies were flying constantly in a seeming effort to keep the game close, and it affected both teams. That huge breakout run by Zeke, the line judge watched and didn't even hint at a penalty, but well after things broke open, the BACK JUDGE tossed his hanky. That's really bizarre, and there was certainly nothing that Doug Free did on that play to draw that. Occam's Razor : WHY would an out-of-position official throw a flag on something that didn't happen well out of his purview? You tell me. Ditto the magic PI call on Scandrick, timed perfectly to coincide with the INT.
Why was there such confusion with the fumble recovery on the kickoff? That was just odd. No-call, then review, then change the ruling? Strange.
Nobody can say it was one-sided, it was more like total ineptitude and constant interference by a garbage crew. I remember seeing a site that tracked the officiating crews, and every week teams get a list of missed/bad calls. I expect both the Cowboys and Vikings to get a healthy list of BS from them this week.
They need full time referees, and they need to reward/fine them accordingly, because this year has been so full of BS that it's hard to stomach. I watched your guys game vs GB earlier in the year, and it was an absolute joke as well.
Meh. We'll beat the Lions up for you guys, you're good people. Skol and best wishes.

Found another one :
http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-high ... highlights
It's on the same play as the missed hands to the face, a pretty blatant false start on the left tackle goes uncalled. Refs just sat on their hands the entire play, maybe they felt bad for screwing up almost the entire game by that point.
7:47-7:48 timeframe in the linked video clear as day.
