Better hope Jefferson is back week 1 and in game shape. Of course KOC has "zero worry" about him being back week 1. Hope that's not another Zim type of projection when he said Hunter had a "little tweak". Maybe Lucky Jackson will make the roster this year to help the first 3 weeks. He was my all name player in last years camp.

Unless they've lied about it being a mild hamstring pull then he should be back. Jalen Nailor would step into number two unless someone outshines him in camp. His stats are very similar to Addison just with less targets. If he can keep that up he'll be adequate at least for a few games. 3rd rounder Tai Felton has apparently looked pretty good in camp. Rondale Moore will probably be in the mix. Hockenson will probably see more targets than normal.

The Vikings are reasonably deep at WR, so losing Addison for three games shouldn't be a major issue for them, especially given their first 3 opponents are the Bears (16th rated pass defense in 2024), the Falcons (22nd rated) and the Bengals (21st rated). It's possible that all of them will be better against the pass this year, but at least the Vikings don't have to start off against any top-rated pass defense from last year, which should lessen the sting of missing the #2 WR.

This is also a real opportunity for Nailor to show what he can do with 2 of the 3 games being nationally televised. As Cliff noted, Nailor's production roughly matches Addison's on a play-per-play basis, and Nailor brings a lot of the same strengths to the position. He'll get a chance to shine, and given he's in a contract year I expect he'll be eager to take advantage of the opportunity.
