i don't want kalil around even if it's a cheaper deal. no matter what the dollar amount is, he's still a below average left tackle who has had numerous knee issues and issues with just being a consistent player. imo we have to aim higher for the most important spot on our o line.

What COULD be an X factor here is our new OL coach. Guess we will see if there is an immediate impact from a coaching standpoint. I do think we will see at least 1 maybe 2 new starters on the OL.

fusco had a decent 2013 season, had his injury in 2014, and fell of the map last year when he moved to right guard. with a cap hit of 4 mil i'm not sure what his future is. i would imagine he would be around to compete, but at the same time his contract much like kalil's, loadholts and sullivans may become an issue if the team is serious about adding quality vet upgrades.

Kalil is scheduled to make about three time that much next season. I am not sure why they moved Fusco
and had a guy try and learn his spot in Harris? Have Harris take over LG and Leave Fusco who is doing well
alone. I am guessing they thought Kalil would do better with a solid guard next to him.
IMO Kalil is the biggest liability or return on investment next season. I wouldn't keep Loadholt either
unless he modified his contract, a lot. At this point I wouldn't sign Kalil at all..

I guess before March 9th we will see what they plan on doing with Kalil. Which that date is coming up fast.

Hear the #Vikings want Loadholt in 2016. Look for the 2 sides to talk $$ after the Combine. Current cap hit is $7.75M. Vikes want to lower.

(con.) There was a meeting last night on the Loadholt front. ... Also hear that the #Vikings are torn on Kalil. $11.1M cap figure.

the thing that makes the Kalil/ Loadholt call so difficult is we have a few tackles we have no
real idea about already Cirles ..no idea Harris already played RT when Loadholt was out last season?
no idea on the Center/OG we got from the niners..Nick Easton
Carter Browskoki LT picked up from niners two years ago ?? on and off the practice squad...
Austin Shepard seems like more of a guard to me LG ?
Clemmings need some time to get better backup at RT
no matter what IMO Kalil, Patterson Wallace, Jeff Locke Brian Robison, ( Hunter would start )
Loadholt would have to take a team friendly deal IMO
