I'm not sure if you're serious or not. :) The link is working is for me so I assume you were joking because of the nature of the story, in which case:

Not joking...it took me to a page where there was a feature on the ravens. But I'm on a mobile and sometimes certain pages don't show up.

I get the joke though....anything positive outta the Bills game would have to be satire.

Most people dont really look in depth into a game and see why a player may be performing poorly. Everyone sees the Vikings offense when they do bad and it's always blamed on Ponder. It was his fault that our pro bowl LT Kalil got beat 1 on 1 by a back up and got sacked, was also Ponders fault when our center Sully hiked the ball far right and over Ponder's head so he had to take a 12 yard loss to recover the ball, and it was also his fault Rudolph our pro bowl TE dropped a 3rd down pass that would've been a first down or also its his fault that Jennings didn't run his routs properly and looked somewhat confused out there. Not to mention the 80% of blitzes that came straight into his or Cassel's face or the RB's not picking up the blitzing LBs and just getting plowed by them. Its always his fault on here. But when he has a good game and puts up some good plays.. then it's " ahh it was AP carrying the squad!"

Weird. Oh, well. It's not a terribly interesting article, just a more balanced view of what happened.

Kind of funny talking about his first start. He seemed to have more swag and sold his PA passes better and threw it with confidence. Now it just seems like it takes 4-5 seconds for him to get rid of the ball if he does pass.

Pretty much. And it's hard to talk real football with those people who seem to disregard any objectivity.

Because it's illegal to snap the ball to yourself

Seriously though while it's true that the emphasis is put too much on the QB, at least it goes both ways. A beat writer would write glowing reviews about Peyton Manning but there would never be full articles on Jeff Saturday. Even though it's 22 guys on the field, the one touching the ball the most is going to get the focus. Just comes with the position.

Some, like myself, never saw Wynn play, but I have my doubts as to how much worse he was in his 4th year.

hahah now he's in his fourth year already! Hard to argue with people who are literally MAKING #### UP to hold against Ponder now.

Sadly, it's actually supposed to be a premium stats and analysis website, which is one of the reasons I was annoyed by that write up. PFF grades every player so when they re-focus on a game, the last thing they should be doing is glossing over poor o-line play.

Anyway, you're right that it's encouraging to read that they have Sharrif Floyd graded so high thus far. I don't always trust their grades but Floyd has looked very good in the first two games so I'd be encouraged by his performance anyway!

We don't need to make stuff up, he is pretty good at giving us 'haters' all we need.
He played for the Bears before joining the Vikes. Little known fact.

I did. He made Ponder look like a pro-bowler. Wynn was like 2nd or 3rd string though IIRC

Spergon Wynn was the #### QB I have ever watched. God damn, I thought I had forgotten all about that until his name was mentioned in this thread.
