Fingers crossed! I want to see improvement in the 2nd half. Focus on the little things, no mental mistakes, make the plays that are in front of us. We are more than capable.mmvikes wrote:20-0 shutout in the second half and we all go to work happy tomorrow

Thanks.Purplemania wrote:Down 17, against the Pats, with Cassel at helm, and no AD. I give you positive annies a lot of props.

I assume the point is that if we can stop turning the ball over on offense, our defense might actually keep us in this game.Purple Reign wrote:

And I could win the lotto. Both equally likely.mmvikes wrote:20-0 shutout in the second half and we all go to work happy tomorrow

We need to force at least 2 turnovers to win this game, I believe.

If it's any consolation to anyone, I had Asiata to score the first TD at 17.5 / 2.
Well, it is me anyway.

The point being STOP MAKING TURNOVERS.Purple Reign wrote: And your point being ???? Only stat that matters is score.
And do you really have to be a tool? Does that prove anything?

Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.

Fingers are crossed for a better second half, but I'm not holding my breath!
Re: Patriots @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 2
This blows. Still can't get over the blocked field goal TD.
Should be down 17-10 at worst. #### me

Never heard of a positive Annie before, is that supposed to be the opposite of a negative nancy?

yep, even a FG would have helped. Been a long time since we have been a come from behind team. I still hold out hope. would prove a lot to come back and win

Re: Patriots @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 2
I think all of us knew this would be one of the hardest games to win, all year. But to lose because of turnovers and a friggin FG block and score? We all know the refs hate us, and never get the benefit of the doubt. Its the way we are losing that hurts.

Completely agree. High five.Purplemania wrote:Guys, we're most likely not going to win this game. No way we can score 17 to catch up and not to mention hope the Pats don't score some more.
2nd half, I just want to see some improvement for the next game. Limit the TO. Move the offense. Play good defense. Get some momentum and hope for next week.
