The problem is we see it (like in that last drive) and then it disappears for long stretches.
He has his moments, but moments don't get it done. They could get a moments-guy in the 4th-6th round.

Everything looked bad. Ponder, o-line, secondary, coaching, special teams, worst half of football in a long time.

I agree moments don't make it. But at this point, I am trying to take what I can.

You're putting that on Ponder? Really?
What I liked was the way he seemed to take charge on that drive. I honestly wonder if he needs a really long leash... maybe he needs to be just allowed to make plays? Could it be any worse than what we see now?
I don't think I implied that it was necessarily his fault, necessarily. lol I meant it as I said it.

Ponder has 6 turnovers already. What's not to like?

Send a message to the 0-Line... Bench Loadholt's fat butt. Put J'Marcus Webb in at tackle.

When asked by police if Frazier was aware of Rudolph's whereabouts he responded, "Oh, yeah. He's right here actually. It was just an oversight that he hasn't been involved."

Too true to be funny.

A tipped INT.
Ref mess up giving the vikes a 1st and 25.
Two batted balls in the end zone when the defender is facing the wrong way.
A questionable fumble on the 10 yard line.
I didn't think the interception was luck. The LB was sitting in zone and made a play. The refs apparently did mess up the call. I thought the first batted ball was lucky as the defender never turned around, the second looked like good defense to me. Not sure which fumble you're talking about but if you mean the Ponder fumble, as I mentioned, there is no forward motion rule anymore. It was a fumble.

I had hoped that the second half of the Chicago game was an indicator of things to come. It looked like they had managed to play with some intensity, so I had high hopes for this game and perhaps the remainder of the season. Sadly, it appears that's not the case right now.
In other words this team is as inconsistent as their quarterback. While Ponder doesn't get a pass, he certainly no more inconsistent than the defense, the offensive line blocking, or a myriad of other issues with this team.

At the game. It's amazing to me how this team can take its own crowd out of the game. The place was absolute bedlam during the first part of the game, but it's pretty subdued now.
I'm in awe at how stupid Leslie Frazier was on that muffed punt. Every person within three rows of me knew he couldn't challenge on a change of possession (because it's reviewed anyway) but apparently our coach didn't. Not only did it cost hat 15 yards but it made it first and 25. Unbelievable.
