Teddy has a lot of the same skills as Montana and similar arm strength.. IMO we need to run a lot ofWell that's good but a lot of it is short intermediate routes. I'm talking deep ball accuracy
When Teddy starts scrambling out of a clean pocket from phantom pressure and stops looking downfield when he does scramble, that's when it'll be clear to me. They run quite a few of them already. Maybe more are in order but I think Teddy simply has to demonstrate that he can do more on a regular basis. An offense that can't sufficiently threaten the middle of the field and throw downfield is ultimnately doomed to mediocrity or worse. Coincidentally, the times when he has had a nice pocket have been when fewer guys rush and more guys drop into coverage.
