You also have to remember. Bridgewater has certain rights (see HIPPA)about the medical information that can be released. And unless he says that all of it can be discussed, the Vikings can't talk about it.

The Vikings saying he wont play again due to injury wouldnt violate hippa at all, but it could be a violation of their contract with him.
