A couple of thoughts here. First off, I would love to see Wallace and his hands of stone gone from the team. Secondly I have not read through all of the game threads but I will say that the refs made some really bad calls. That holding call against Fusco was a total joke as were several other BS calls. Not that those calls decided the outcome of this game but they surely sucked.

Yeah there were definitely some bad calls.

Regarding Wallace, I think that goes both ways though. We would love to see him stop dropping balls but we would also love to see Teddy actually hit him once on a deep ball. If Teddy just connected on 3 of those 6 deep misses to Wallace, I feel like we wouldn't be complaining about Wallace nearly as much because that's 6 near-sure touchdowns that Teddy missed on. Then you add on Rudys drop in the endzone. That would be a decent amount of TDs for Teddy but that deep accuracy is clearly lacking

Mike, what makes you think that he could even catch a "long ball" when he drops a great percentage of the short throws hitting him right in the hands  I just as well would like to see Wright, CJ and Pruitt out there together.

This team doesn't have the kind of margins to overcome all the mike wallace drops. I want them to bench him and not bring him back next year.

Well he's caught plenty of deep balls over the years so I don't know how that is so confusing. It's not like he drops every single pass thrown to him. But yeah I guess we can figure he'll just drop all 6 of those targets and Teddy isn't at fault for over/under throwing him

It would be helpful if we stopped over generalizing arguments. Nobody should assume Wallace will drop every pass and nobody should assume Teddy is never at fault. It would help a lot if we tried to discuss the issues instead of trying to make others look like fools.

That wasn't what I was trying to do at all. I've discussed the issues plenty of times but it seems like I always get an excuse that points to everyone else but Teddy. I've put out there multiple times there are many different problems with this offense but for whatever reason when I use the word Teddy, I hear it's because of the offensive line, its because of Mike Wallace, it's because of Norv Turner, it's because Peterson can't run out of shotgun, etc. His accuracy issues go down the drain, his lack of throwing the ball off his first hitch goes down the drain, his conservative play goes down the drain.

I know the line is bad, I know Mike Wallace has dropped some passes, I know Norv Turner can call some stupid plays at times....but what I also know (something some have a hard time admitting), is that Teddy Bridgewater isn't playing very good right now either. I want to see this guy succeed more than anything. I love the guy, his work ethic, his leadership, how he handles pressure, etc. But he is very underwhelming this year. Are the other problems in this offense helping him?? Of course not. But at the same time, he is the one touching the ball every play. He is the one throwing the ball. He is the one that is in command of this offense. He needs to start showing up. Like I said before, our own damn coach is saying the same stuff I am. But it is always someone elses fault.

By no means am I trying to compare the two but Philip Rivers has a HORRIBLE offensive line, HORRIBLE WRs, and a HORRIBLE running game. Yet somehow he can still manage to throw 19 touchdowns this year and lead the league in yardage. Granted having a bad running game forces you to throw more but still. Some want to point the finger at our line, WRs, etc. Well look at Rivers. He has it MUCH worse than Teddy does.

Great QBs can still find ways to individually succeed in those situations. I'm not asking for Teddy to throw for a million yards and TDs but start driving the ball down the field when you have the chance, start completing some deep throws, start taking advantage of having the best RB in the game behind you . He isn't making our line look any better by doing what he is doing. I want to see progressions, not regressions thats all and all I'm hearing are excuses as to why he isn't progressing.

"Accuracy" is somewhat of a misnomer but at face value, here's some context. Of QBs that have at least 200 attempts this season, the highest completion percentage is Drew Brees (69.5%). Teddy is ranked tied for 11th. In descending order:

Drew Brees (69.5%)
Philip Rivers (68.6%)
Kirk Cousins (68.3%)
Tyrod Taylor (67.9%)
Russell Wilson (67.5%)
Ben Roethlisberger (66.8%)
Tom Brady (66.3%)
Matt Ryan (65.5%)
Marcus Mariota (65.3%)
Andy Dalton (65.1%)
Josh McCown (65%)
Eli Manning (64.6%)
Teddy Bridgewater (64.6%)
Joe Flacco (64.4%)
Matthew Stafford (64.2%)
Carson Palmer (64%)
Alex Smith (63.9%)
Sam Bradford (63.9%)
Jay Cutler (63.4%)
Derek Carr (63.3%)
Ryan Tannehill (62.8%)
Aaron Rodgers (61.7%)
Peyton Manning (59.9%)
Brian Hoyer (59.5%)
Colin Kaepernick (569%)
Ryan Fitzpatrick (58.4%)
Jameis Winston (58.3%)
Cam Newton (56.9%)
Nick Foles (56.6%)
Blake Bortles (56.5%)
Andrew Luck (55.3%)

The Vikings are 16th in the league in drops (12).

... or to an open receiver. He took some unnecessary sacks and made some runs he didn't have to make. The pressure he's faced this season is clearly getting to him. You can see he sometimes hurries off of his downfield receivers to the check down or run.
@christomasson Teddy Bridgewater said Kyle Rudolph was still beating himself up last week over dropped TD pass at Oakland.
If that leads to more performances like the one he had on Sunday, I hope he keeps it up. :)

Thanks for the tweets.

Well that's good but a lot of it is short intermediate routes. I'm talking deep ball accuracy
