Well it does matter if we don't have as good as a chance to compete without him. I just hope he's OK and that somehow it's not series enough to effect the entire season.

Berger is just as good or even better at this point. So why keep a guy with a big contract as a backup? Thats what wouldnt make any sense

Exum and Crichton waived w/ injury designations. Stoudemire released. Harris to NFL (not sure what that means)

Who cares about his contract this year?! It's not hurting anything. He provided quality depth, which we need. And allows Berger position flexibility. Whatever. I hope it doesn't backfire.

His contract wasn't that *big*

Sully is better than Nick Easton.

Depth is important. We are just witnessing it now.

Cutting Sully gives us cap flexibility for any salary cap casualties that might help us. Also, gives us more cap to entice QB help.
Sure doesn't look good for TB. Haven't heard the latest yet....

No quarterbacks left out there need enticing.

But if they trade for a quarterback then the cap cushion may be a of use.

Bridgewater's knee injury is very upsetting.
Zim said it was "significant." It doesn't sound like it very likely he will return this season.
