Thanks.

I needed a break but now that the games are getting started again, I'm getting my annual affliction of football fever.

T.J. Clemmings working at starting right tackle, with Andre Smith demoted to the 2's, for the day at least. #Vikings
Zimmer made note of Andre smith getting beat it was by Carlos Dunlap
Zimmer said it wasn't all the offensive line on some of breakdowns
2:40 PM - 14 Aug 2016
Of the younger safeties Zimmer said kearse did the best.
Terence Newman, Edmond Robinson and Marcus Sherels returned to practice. Newman back at LCB over Waynes. #Vikings
Sharrif Floyd, Jarius Wright, Eric Kendricks and Brandon Fusco were still out as the Vikings resumed practice on...
Also not practicing following Friday night's game: Lamur, Roberson.
#Vikings safety Michael Griffin faced Bengals last Friday with a dislocated finger on each hand. He's a tough guy. twincities.com/2016/08/14/vik…
Edit: we have to be down to 75 by August 30th??

Play of practice today was probably Jayron Kearse's impressive sideline interception of Joel Stave.
The ensuing celebration, though, earned the rookie a rebuke from defensive end Everson Griffen, who told Kearse to "act like you've been there before."

Griffen should have said unless your Cam Newton , you can't do that ...

Me too, but I was pulling for us to draft him and when we got him as late as we did, I was pretty excited. He makes sense for us because he's got natural gifts and is in need of what Zimmer can teach him: technique. I think he could flourish with the Vikings.

On Antone Exum, Zimmer pulled this Jimmy Johnson quote: "It’s not how many good plays you make. It’s how many bad plays you give up."

Rough go for Blair Walsh today as he missed 3 of 6 field goal tries (41, 43, 48) in team sessions. Otherwise he's had a good summer.

Vikings WR Jarius Wright, who has a sleeve on his left calf, said he'll be able to play in the preseason. Wright wouldn't comment on his injury, but acknowledged the sleeve wasn't a fashion statement. "It kind of gives it away, doesn't it?"

Same #Vikings still held out today: Floyd, Kendricks, Wright, Fusco, A. Harris, Watts, Crichton, Roberson and White.
