wow how quickly the fortunes of war change

LETS GO VIKINGS !

Re: Vikings @ Redskins Gameday Discussion Thread -- Week 6
I think that's an overstatement. Other than Ponder's fumble/int/whatever in the red zone, the defense has been mostly effective except for 1 drive. Hopefully we'll make some adjustments...VikingLord wrote:Vikes can't move the ball anymore and can't stop the Redskins from moving it...

End of 2nd quarter
Vikes 9
Skins 17
Hopefully we can come out of the Locker room and show some improvement from the first half

Yeah we're not coming back. This is THAT game for us. The letdown game.
It'll get worse.
It'll get worse.

Don't think we've got it in us to come from behind and win on the road. Love to be wrong, but just can't see it happening.
Still, no point getting too down. The Vikings are still well ahead of where i expected them to be at this stage of the year.
I will say one thing though, that RG3 dive was an embarrassment. Erin hardly touched him.

Frasier will have to get them refocused they seemed to have lost their way probably due to the offenses ineptitude inside the red zone , id rather try for it on fourth and short then keep settling for 3 every stinking time , Hey Musgrave its not illegal to throw into the endzone from time to time

LETS GO VIKINGS !

Should've scored 7 off the Winfield INT, not 3. That's the difference now, and it'll be the difference at the end of the game.
Re: Vikings @ Redskins Gameday Discussion Thread -- Week 6
Peterson's last 4 carries: 1, -1, 1, -1

Re: Vikings @ Redskins Gameday Discussion Thread -- Week 6
Another turnover by Ponder, the redskins score a TD. Winfields gets an int and the Vikes get a FG. Thats the way Fraizer and Musgrave call plays. We could have Carter and Moss as The WR and Musgrave isnt going to call deep balls with Ponder as our QB. No way. He is a WCO QB, thats it. They got 50 people in the box to stop AD and cover the short PH p[lays and Ponder cant audible to a deeper throwing play. The coaching staff doesnt care if we settle for FG, because they are scores, usually from long drives, and the oppenent doesnt get the ball. They dont understand the concept of stepping on the oppents throat. And on top of that the D decides not to play in the sceond quarter. Makes me sick.

That Ponder/Peterson whatever that was was pure rotten luck. I think we can still come back despite being down 8.

Also, if we had a decent coaching staff, i would expect some adjustments to be made. We dont, and I dont.

Somebody in white/purple needs to wipe that goofy smile off RG3's face in the 2nd half.
