Their OL has been a problem for sometime now. In one of those playoff games Burrow was sacked 9 times. You don't win many games like that but their D played great ball in the playoffs. Shutout Mahomes after halftime in the Champ game. That has to be coaching.Pondering Her Percy wrote: ↑Sun Dec 11, 2022 7:30 pmThe bengals offensive line was pathetic last year. Dont compare us to them. They had a decent Oline and running game. We dont. And I think we might have one of the worst defenses I have seen.

Cause you attack everyone who doesnt see things your way. Ot criticizes this team.Pondering Her Percy wrote: ↑Sun Dec 11, 2022 10:37 pm“The attack”. Why is it that every time someone responds to you they are “attacking” you? Is your skin really that thin? Maybe people are just getting sick of listening to your “luck” rant week after week.

88, 54 and 48 yards in the playoff games. I'm sure he had some good games during the season because he is a good player.JJBreaksRecords wrote: ↑Mon Dec 12, 2022 12:05 amI remember Mixon running wild.CharVike wrote: ↑Sun Dec 11, 2022 11:43 pm

The fact that "The best team doesn't always win" is the HOPE that I am holding on to. When they enter the playoffs, they will not be the best team, but as you know, anything can happen in the playoffs. They are a good enough team. They are good enough to beat any team they will face. At that point, you only need to go 3-0.

Again I think back to when KAM and KOC arrived and fans were offering speculation on what strategy they would take. Many were advocating whether they would move off aging players right away. KAM referenced his competitive rebuild strategy. We picked up some free agents and here we are at 10-3 after yesterday.
The way I look at it 10-3 and a bunch of cliffhanger wins that went our way. Luck is said to be when preparation meets opportunity and they had to be within striking distance which they were. I think they’ll still win the division but will have a tough time in they playoffs. The defense if I push my optimism aside is a hot mess at this point. I really thought we had the talent on that side of the ball but they give up a lot of yards every week. Nevertheless, they’re still going to play at least one playoff game. I think the real story of this team will take a few seasons to develop. Bottom line, I will keep watching and cheering every week and worry about the next step they’ll take to improve this team until the offseason.

I attended the game yesterday in Detroit , I have to say it never felt like the Vikings were even in the game emotionally and the score was closer than it felt . The play calling from KOC was questionable at best and the Defense is just lost .
LETS GO VIKINGS !

Our defense needs to change the approach. It's nothing new but we need to get after the QB. We have players to rush the passer. Get back to a 4-3 and get Jones in there at RDE and leave Hunter down at LDE. Now Smith can shot gaps. Move Tomlinson back inside. Teams will need to block him and he's a good inside player. We have talent but when I see Hunter chasing guys in coverage that's wasting the talent. I think you always need to look for improvement unless you are shelving the season. We have a scared defense and they will get whipped unless they get into attack mode. This bending and waiting for a screw up is the wrong approach.StanM wrote: ↑Mon Dec 12, 2022 9:12 am Again I think back to when KAM and KOC arrived and fans were offering speculation on what strategy they would take. Thanks for your insight. I can’t nor would I want to dispute any of your observations. That’s why I drop in here, to get feedback from fans who know a lot more than I do. I’ve got 62 years of longevity watching Vikings football but that doesn’t transfer to football knowledge.

I dont "attack" anyone. I questioned your opinion which is my right on a message board. No different than Kapp did and you accused him of "attacking" too. Your opinion that we are lucky every single week has zero backing to it. Sure maybe a team gets lucky in a game or two, but calling win after win "lucky" when we have 10 of them makes your take less and less valid by the game. If you're going to get defensive and saying you're getting "attacked" every time someone disagrees with your opinion, maybe stop using the "luck" claim every time we win and that wont happen.JJBreaksRecords wrote: ↑Mon Dec 12, 2022 12:03 amCause you attack everyone who doesnt see things your way. The saddest thing in life is wasted talent and the choices you make will shape your life forever.
