I'm not seeing anything different from the Vikings offense this year compared to last year. The mid-field and downfield passing (attempts, much less completions) is still non-existent, no credible aerial threat into the endzone, and Bridgewater is still dumping it off early and often. The pass blocking seems better, but even with the additional time there is no additional dimension added to the offense.

And that's why Cole and Griffin are backups.

They are all running lateral routes. No one is going downfield.
