I wouldn't write off the Titans so easily. Chris Johnson just ran for 140 yards on a very good Houston defense. If Britt plays (gametime decision) he won't be 100% so that works in the Vikings favor but he's still a legitimate threat. Also their corners play aggressive and I think this could disrupt the Vikings WR screens and short routes.

I think the Titans take the lead into halftime. The Vikings rally and win by 3.

I think a safe guess/prediction will be Vikings 27, Titans 10. If the coaching staff continues to play ultra, "straight-up-the-middle-handoffs-then-punt" conservative football late in the game, then the Titans will come back and score at least 10 more, giving everyone gray hair and making us all yell at the tv! Vikes fortunately, should still win at home! The confidence cannot be denied, and Ponder is showing why he was drafted in the first place.

I think this could be a wild one, both teams put up lot of points. Vikings pull out win at home 38-33, 4th quarter pick 6 being the difference.

This will be another home game I get to attend this season! I hope we come out and destroy Tennesse. I am still pissed off about the loss we had in 2008 against the Titans (long story, and I don't have time to explain).

I don't have a score prediction but I am expecting us to win and push my Metrodome visitation record to 10-3 all time! :)

We will see some growing pains this week, particularly along the O-line.

Tennessee: 23
Minnesota: 14

as for how many times these guys score that boils down to opportunities more than anything. how many kicks does harvin get to return every year? 30? 40? well, now put your qb at the goal line with 100 yards to go and give him 40 tries to score against a defense planning for him all week. you think he's going to score a lot more than a kick returner would?

i just don't think many understand all that special teams entail.
Don't you know that special teams touchdowns don't count? We actually lost 13-6 last week! Disappointing, I know.
