I always liked the twist of that theme ... and I've been seen with Farrah!

Here's one that doesn't have words:

Dah da da dum
Dah da da dum

Duh da da dum
Duh da da dum

Dah da da dum
Dah da da dum

Duh da da dum
Duh da da dum

Woo wah waaaah
Woooooo waaaah

Woo woo woo woo
Woo wah waaaah

That is a simplified version, but many of you should be able to figure it out.

Hint: Pink Floyd would often use this theme as part of the solo when playing One of These Days live.
Night Rider?

BGM wrote:"Lady Godiva was a freedom rider, she didn't care if the whole world looked.
Joan of Arc with the Lord to guide her, she was a sister who really cooked.
Isadora was the first bra burner, ain't you glad she showed up.
And though the country was falling apart Betsy Ross got it all sewed up."
Maude

I have to admit to only knowing that due to a parody of it done on this one:

"It seems today, that all you see
is violence in movies and sex on TV
but where are those good old fashioned values
on which we used to rely?"

I thought the young guys would have been able to get that one quickly.

Family Guy

Too bad the writers steal so many Simpsons themes.

This one is obvious in a way:

"Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take the sky from me
There's no place I can be
Since I found Serenity
But you can't take the sky from me."

OK, I only cheated a little bit on this one. Your hint about it being obvious had me thinking it was the theme from Serenity which I'd read about but never seen. So I went to Serenety Theme on YouTube and it said it was movie based on the show "Firefly" which I've heard about but never watched. Checked out Firefly Theme and voilla-- that was it. So I didn't out-and-out search for the lyics, but did a little web-based trial/error.

OK then, this one is an oldie but a goody (even before my time), but I don't think many will have problems identifying it.

You're moving into a land
of both shadow and substance
of things and ideas.

I'll let someone else answer that one, because I cannot stand the lead actor in that show. He is not one of America's funniest actors; that's for sure.

The Norfin Troll twins are butt-ugly as well.

Time to move on-- based on the last couple posts, this one has to be Full House.

This one is current and I post it because it is by far the coolest theme to listen to if you have 5.1 surround and you watch it in HD.

Out here in the field, I fight for my meals
I get my back into my living
I don't need to fight, to prove I'm right
I don't need to be forgiven

That is obviously Baba O'Riley from the Who.

It opens one of the CSI shows, but I don't watch them, so I wouldn't know which one without looking it up. They all look the same to me.

Perhaps someone who knows which one can post it without looking as a bonus.

How about this one:
Here we are! Born to be kings!

We're the princes of the universe.

Here we belong,

Fighting to survive in a world with the darkest powers!
We come from the land of the ice and snow .... :smilevike:

Denise Richards used to know the answer to this one.

I'll let someone else figure it out.

Well last time around it was Two and a half Men :-)

OK, then, how about:

He awoke to find himself in the past
suffering from partial amnesia
and facing a mirror image that was not his own.
