I noticed its hard to rack up sacks in 09. My first season is almost thru and Jared Allen has 2 sacks, Pat Williams has 2 sacks, Kevin Williams has zero! however the lowest rated guy on the line, Ray Edwards has 5 sacks? I usually play with Kevin or Pat when im on Defense and i still cant manage to get sacks. upsets me. but i do get alot of pressure and cause alot of picks. madieu williams has 6 ints, and winfield has 5, Sharper 3, Griffin 4.

And yes the game is good. presentation would be nice tho. like 2k5.

I know what you are talking about man. It's very hard to get sacks. Even with linebackers. They have really up the protection this year.

Just wrapped up my first season on the PS3. Vikes of course went 16-0 and won the Super Bowl over the Colts, 56-14.

But I just wanted to note that I saw the same kind of defensive line behavior you did. Allen is virtually silent. He played the run pretty well but just like in your game, I think he had 2-3 sacks the whole year. Ray got 9 for me. PWill and KWill (I am usually KWill) were stout against the run but for as many times as they were right in the QB's face, they got almost no sacks.

I was surprised by how much they cut out of the offseason. It goes really fast. No rookie game, no offseason scouting, you go into the draft kind of blind. I always draft for speed though, and since the 40 times are displayed prominently that's not a big deal for me.

Oh and can I add one thing? I am SICK of Cris Collinsworth! His color commentary is worse than Madden's! Although I do like the Backtrack feature, that's kind of nice to see what you could have done.
