Hey all. I just wanted to let you know I'm still alive. I've been very preoccupied with moving to Punta Cana Dominican Republic which I just did. I've got easy access to the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. Go Vikings.

Good to see you! Sounds like a nice place I'm with Makila about pictures!
It's pretty dead around here at the moment. Just not much going on in the world of Vikings football. Lots of people guessing at draft picks and that's about it.

Jalen Ramsey and the Dolphins are reportedly open to a trade. It would be awesome if the Vikings could make that happen.
Age and salary are concerns. I did see the Dolphins may eat most of that salary through a restructure. It will be a later round pick because the Rams only got a 3rd rounder for him which opens questions about other things like ability and locker room mix.

Very nice. Wonder how many Vikings fans are down there...

I have a feeling KAM will wait until after the draft to make any additional vet moves. I see a lot of mocks where the Vikings take a CB with their first pick, and if that were to happen any trades for vet CBs will probably target players that come with reasonable salary cap hits. Not sure if Ramsey would fit that description, but he'd likely slot in as one of the starters.
I still think KAM is going to target an IOL with his first pick even if he trades back, which might be possible if a QB-needy team that drafted in the first 10 picks sees a guy drop and wants to make sure they get him. KAM could swing a deal where he moves down into the top of the 2nd, picks up an early 4th or maybe even a 3rd, and still gets an IOL who has a chance to start right away. I like the way the latter half of the 1st appears to be shaping up in terms of what the Vikings need.

Thought I'd pass this along.
In the final seconds of the opening hour of his show on Tuesday, PA told his producer, Eric Nordquist — along with millions of loyal listeners — that the Vikings like Brett Rypien “more than I think people would imagine”.
“I understand when people have the flippant, but out of nowhere opinion, ‘Brett Rypien are you kidding me?’ I understand that, because Brett hasn’t done much — if hardly anything — in the NFL.
But as I’ve shared before, without oversharing… they like him. They like him a lot. That doesn’t mean he’ll be the backup, like the 1A to McCarthy. I still do believe they’ll find a veteran backup. But, they like Rypien more than I think people would imagine.”

Think most Vikings fans know they like Rypien. Still don't want to rely on him next year as our backup, and I don't think they will. KOC has a vet with experience every season as a backup. Even when he had a vet starter.

I saw an interview with KOC and he mentioned a trade as a possibility or the draft. Well the draft don't fit for a vet. But I'm leaning more on the trade side like they did with Mullens. Cough up a 7th rounder for a vet body.

A guy that may be available after the draft is Will Levis once they pick Ward. Maybe that's what KOC meant by the draft. Looks like we will get a 3rd and 5th rounder next year as comp picks. Sammy is the 3rd rounder. That was a great FA signing. A good season plus a pick.

If he's available at 24 and we still have 24 the Vikings will draft Colston Loveland. If we trade back it will be Donovan Jackson.

The #Vikings have given Pro Bowl LB Andrew Van Ginkel a 1-year, $23M extension to keep him in Minnesota in a deal done by agent Drew Rosenhaus.
