I'd bet Detroit would listen to that offer if contract negotiations don't go well. They'd free up a significant amount of cap room and get a young first-round player. The question is whether the Vikings would want to take on the headaches that come with this bonehead as well as his huge salary.

Not sure if it was mentioned in this forum, the Buffalo Jills, Buffalo Bills cheerleaders suspending operations for a season. That's bad if so. Meaning they won't have any Cheerleaders at the games?

Yep, and I think the Raiders and Bengals cheerleaders have lawsuits going, as well. I think those are the two teams, anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if more keep popping up, though. They get treated pretty crappy if you ask me. Geez. It's embarrassing that as rich as the freaking NFL is, they are too stupid to pay the cheerleaders adequately. They are a part of the team; they are everywhere.

They don't do it for the money. They all do it for different reasons. Some are Models, and get exposure due to calenders and other photo shoots. Some are boosting their resume for owning or managing dance studios. Some have just been lifelong fans and happen to have been cheerleaders in College and wanted to pursue their lifelong dream. They know that they aren't getting paid anything except a small stipend per game. But that doesn't even cover the gas to drive back and forth to practice every week, get close to covering all of the things that go into "staying beautiful" and looking fresh every week. (Haircuts, Nails, Makeup, Gym memberships/trainers)

But knowing all this.. 100s of girls try out every year even for these smaller teams.

I don't know about all teams, but the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders also get a 3-4 day Photoshoot/trip to some Caribbean Island every year free of charge. They also get a pair of tickets to every game to give out to friends/family. I know that it doesn't change things in most peoples eyes. But just saying, there are some perks.

From what I've read, he wants to be designated a WR, which would give him franchise tag salary of $12.3M instead of the $7M that TEs get. Huge difference.

That's what I figured, because I remember reading that, too. But he is a TE, isn't he? So, I don't get it. Seems like a waste...
