He hit the facemask, but no grab and no pull, no penalty. GB got another one of the NFL favored teams BS call.TSonn wrote:Good chat! When I'm not on my tablet I will post a picture of the defender not grabbing the facemask. It will be neat to hear your response.
But the Packer had the failedmary, just ask Jordy the Troll. Oh the humanity! Please dude gtfo, just leave. Your wrong, once again.Funkytown wrote: Yep. More of this stuff needs to be reviewable. Too many games being affected by bad officiating near the end.
Hell the Fail Mary was a million times more egregious than this even if you guys were correct, lol. Just relax man, im not trying to troll you, ill try to come off as less antagonistic from now on.PurpleKoolaid wrote: But the Packer had the failedmary, just ask Jordy the Troll. Oh the humanity! FTR Carey never said it was a good call, he said "he hits the facemask and the head went down, that gets called every time"Jordysghost wrote: And Carey said it was a good call, what does it matter?
Can I politely inquire to your opinion on the Abbredaris PI no call? Did you think it was a good no call?me4get wrote: He hit the facemask, but no grab and no pull, no penalty. GB got another one of the NFL favored teams BS call.
That's what is frustrating, Rogers lobs it up and majority of the time if there is any contact PI is called. Defenses have to be able to go for the ball too. Im starting to think its a play in your playbook. Rogers lob it up, Adams run under it and hit the defender. Then Rogers throw your arms in the air and beg for a penalty, bam 1st down. GB pry wondering when teams r gonna start stealing their play hahaJordysghost wrote: It looked to me like his finger caused the turn to the left, im not saying it was egregious, I never was. I thought it was going to be called when I saw it, just as the uncalled PI on the Lions the play prior.
Wait a day or so and see what people say. Like I said, in real time I totally understand the flag, it looked like a facemask to me. But the benefit of replay shows it was the wrong call.Jordysghost wrote: And Carey said it was a good call, what does it matter?
I think in situations like this a full replay is nessecary.TSonn wrote:Pretty clear screen shot: http://imgur.com/XPVzq3O
And the rule to go with it, incidental contact is NOT a penaltyTSonn wrote:Pretty clear screen shot: http://imgur.com/XPVzq3O
Because we know football? And we've watched a lot of it and know how calls should/shouldn't go? That should NOT have been called, unless they were sure. They weren't. And for the rest of your anti-Facebook rants, if Bridge would have gotten the call, I bet most of us would have appreciated it and felt lucky, but probably wouldn't be saying it was necessarily the right call. Big difference. I'm at work with a Packers fan right now who says it shouldn't have been called. Because it shouldn't have been. Not surprised it was, though. Gotta protect the "elite QBs".PurpleMustReign wrote: Or you can admit it was the right call, which it was. I don't understand how people can argue it.
I have seen Rodgers get facemasked and late hit with no calls plenty before so whatever.Funkytown wrote: Because we know football? PFT lolol.saint33 wrote:also "nobodies complaining about it except on this board"
two articles on PFT already, one which it is referred to as questionable, the other is an article specifically about whether the call was right or not.
