After that played i looked over at the wiff and said "when you only get the ball once per game of coarse you are going to be determined to get those yards". That was a powerful run, and the punt coverage was just ridiculous!
He looked to have the same kind of burst that Harrison Smith has. Like he is a step and a half quicker than everyone and strong. I thought he also made a great tackle on kick off coverage too.
I just think another team will snatch him up and make more use of him if they don't get him involved. I feel very meh about CJ at this point...but the line/protection isues and Bradford's newness could be seriously affecting his production.
Either way I thought CP made the most he could of his opportunities yesterday in terms of hustle and effort.

I wouldnt be opposed to trading CJ to a wr hungry team to make space and start to recoup from the bradford trade

At this point, they'd probably have to give another team a 7th round pick along CJ with as incentive to take him.
Okay, that's pretty harsh (and a joke) but he's practically been invisible since 2014 so I do wonder if they could even get a pick for him.
I think a high round conditional pick might be okay. We have Diggs and supposedly Treadwell so its not like we don't have some talent. If CJ goes there and still flames out, we made space for real WRs. If he plays solid, hey, higher pick. Win-Win
It's not like they couldn't afford to lose his production. Besides LT and CP there is Wright, who for some reason is receiver non grata now.
My take on CJ is tempered by a comment from Poet who says he is getting open but they QB has no time to get him the ball. According to the film sessions. Much like the case of Wallace last year I suspect. CJ is running the routes that take longer to develop.
