.
It's a simple tier-based ranking from best to worst. That's the stated intent of the exercise. The tier descriptions are basically window dressing.

The main thing about these rankings are the tiers. If it was just to rank the qbs in order they wouldn't have bothered with tiers.

Exactly. It's not complicated. The very best go in Tier 1. The next level in Tier 2, etc.

Yes but there is little difference between QBs in there respective tiers as to why its more labeling who is in what tier than it is who is better this qb or this other qb.

If Teddy can give us sixty percent or so of those numbers we can win a championship
that's all I care about....hopefully our OL can pass block somewhat and Teddy have more
than enough firepower ...
Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing him increase from throwing 9 TDs last year to 30 TDs this year.

I see no reason to feel disrespect by some dude who writes for BSPN and his subjective QB view. The hell does he actually know anyway? Any person on this planet could put together a slap-dick list of QB rankings and pass it off as an article.

The rankings aren't the opinion of "some dude who writes for BSPN". They're the results of a poll that "dude' conducted among 10 NFL GMs, 5 NFL head coaches, 7 NFL offensive coordinators, 5 NFL defensive coordinators, 8 NFL personnel evaluators and seven other NFL position coaches/executives.
That info was in the original post.

Yes it was.
Still, to clarify, it is still his subjective 'tiers' he is putting them into. Moreover, they are presented as: "Mike Sando's QB Rankings" To say Sando doesn't have any say in these rankings would not be fair.

Here are my re-phrased tiers:
Tier 1: QBs who love bananas
Tier 2: QBs who like bananas
Tier 3: QBs who won't eat bananas
Tier 4: QBs who dress like bananas (and hate ESPN)
Tier 5: QBs who dance like bananas

Tier 6: QBs that can win without liking bananas.
Tier 7: QBs that can win with a banana allergy.
These are completely logical rankings.

This is a huge year for Teddy imo. He has sufficient weapons with AP and our wideouts. He also has experience and familiarity with the scheme and NFL defenses. As long as the offensive line isn't absolute garbage Teddy should make a big jump this season.

Thanks, I thought so.
Those Tier 7 QBs amaze me. It's tough to throw a good pass when you're sneezing, your eyes are watering and your hands are swollen to twice their normal size.
