ESPN listed him as 5' 10" on their broadcast and that's the height listed on both of the profiles I posted.
Look, if he can play, he can play but it's a curious choice for a coach who has made it clear he prefers taller corners.
I'm just saying it's not like he's 5'7. I'm excited to see what he can do with Zimmer.

Josh Robinson wasn't 5'7 either, but he was the corner Zim was complaining about in that quote.
That said, I'm excited to see what they will do with him. And Captain and Newman are both in the final year of their deals

If anyone didn't think this was a good pick based upon Alexander being potential 1st rounder... You can give Zimmer the bennefit of the doubt.

Essentially a one-year, $3.95 million contract. It's not as nuts as first reported

Alexander said he played both inside and outside at Clemson. He also noted that he was asked to cover the best receivers every week.

"Interceptions are important, but it's difficult when teams game plan away from you. They'll be throwing to me now."

Mackensie, without hesitation: "I was asked to follow the best receivers every week and eliminate them from their game plan every week."

"Trae Waynes had to sit for a year. Would you be cool with that?"
"I... I wouldn't say I'd be cool with it"

Not sure how I feel about this pick. CB will definitely be a position of need in the next year or so after Newman leaves. I'd imagine that Waynes will make starter this year along with Rhodes and MacKenzie will spend a year playing special teams and packages with extra DBs?

Welcome to the Vikings Alexander.
Right now I'm pretty much seeing it the same way. I don't know. Does the Alexander pick mean Newman moves to safety?
