What concerns me with Norv isn't the comment made in a press conference. Last week Kansas City Should its hand and
stacked the box.. when they do that its time to let Teddy pass the ball a little more. You can slow the clock but if your not
getting first downs you don't really chew much clock.

Even the biggest Norv supporter has got to question some of the things he says.

Diggs was a projected top ten pick by many experts going into his final year at Maryland. It's been extrememly evident thus far why that was. If it weren't for injuries he never would've been available in the 5th.

That being said Norv is still correct that in order for him to reach his potential and fully utilize his talent he's got a lot of work to do. I think he's gonna be an all-pro someday but it may take a few years.

I wonder if this approach to Diggs has to do with Patterson? He got some pretty high praise pretty early; perhaps the coaching staff thinks he rested on those laurels and don't want Diggs to do the same?

Though, on the other hand, I haven't heard anything negative about Patterson's work ethic really.

I think people are putting way too much analysis into a comment made at a press conference. They aren't saying things there to try to help fans (or the other team) get a sense of their plans. they are talking to their players (Bill Parcels was the master of this) or giving answers that mean nothing and cause no waves. I think these comments probably fall in the first camp.

Diggs and Teddy seem to have some chemistry.
This is pretty much my take on it, sometimes it's less about talent and more about two players who work well together. I don't think theirs a defense that worries about wallace much even if Teddy throws him the ball he doesn't catch it.

Oh bother. Thanks. Changed. I'm very white. Now that I'm a dad, even more so. Don't make me bust out my "white dad dance moves" because I will.

I read this analysis on Twitter and I think I agree. Neither Zimmer or Norv took the opportunity to take the company line and say, "Stefon has played well but Charles is still our starter. He's earned that." Makes me think we'll see some Diggs. Question is...at whose expense and how much?

The NFL apparently didn't care what Norv had to say. This article is currently on the front page of NFL.com

Thanks for the link. I'm thrilled to see Diggs get the recognition. He deserves it.

It's nice that Kendricks got mentioned as well.

When did you become a dad? I joined the club 4 months ago.

Nothing like parenthood, that's certain. Welcome to the "club". It's an enjoyable ride right up to their teenage years... that's when your grey hair will flood in.

I am in a wait and see mode with what happens with Diggs. If they actually cut his reps and don't give him
the ball. I won't be happy. Especially with Wallace dropping balls all over the place.
