This is just typical behavior from Lovie Smith. This is what he does with his coordinators. He plays musical coordinators. He's already on his second OC in Tampa Bay and he went through 3 defensive coordinators and 4 offensive coordinators during his 9 years in Chicago. With the Bears, he would take over playcalling from his DCs and then hand it back. • S Anthony Harris intercepted a Taylor Heinicke pass intended for Chase Ford, ripping the ball out of Ford's hands as he bobbled the pass.
• The Vikings continue to work various defensive ends in dropping into coverage. Earlier this week, rookie DE Danielle Hunter was seen dropping into space. On Thursday, Justin Trattou got some looks in drops. DE Scott Crichton continued to work as a pass-rushing tackle aside from his defensive end duties.
• TE MyCole Pruitt (ankle), C John Sullivan (spasms), S Antone Exum (hamstring), OT Carter Bykowski (pec), DT Shamar Stephen (knee) and CB Josh Robinson (pec) did not practice.
