Yes, I'll go with the '98 team, so incredible, so easy to move the ball down the field, put up points, give up a few, then pour it on with more points...
What a game it would have been against Denver, but again, the continued thoughts of the best team never to win the SB...the gut still hurts, and don't mention the next playoff game against NY!
Even though Atlanta was a really good team at, what were they, 14-2 that year? The Vikes killed them "most" of the game, until two dang plays...oh the pain!
...wisdom ?

Re: Best Vikings year ever
.....I hope is to come. After all that Viking fans have been through, we deserve a good run. To win it all for a change. When that finally happens, that will be the best year.
98 season was the best for me. I was around for the early disappointments but the 98 season was the most entertaining for me because they were so awesome for one and I got to watch the whole season. Not being from Minny of course you don't get to see the games so being able to watch the magic of that season was pretty good. One of these years the Vikings will not be the bridesmaid.
(disappointment in that the SB was not won. Not the season.)

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.
