Kind of. It's not like it was guaranteed that Cleveland wouldn't take Teddy with their pick instead - they did have that big study that told them to take Bridgewater.
Honestly I think if they had, Spielman would have made the same move up for Johnny.

I feel like it would have been Carr. Because as I said in other threads, running QBs do NOT fit Norv's offense. It requires a pocket passer that can deliver the ball. Manziel is the complete opposite of that.

That's entirely possible... but I also think Spielman is much more vulnerable to hype and "star power." Remember the reports about Norv banging his fist on the table for Bridgewater? That implies some sort of argument.

Right so I'm guessing if Norv wanted Teddy (a pocket passer), Spielman wouldn't go against it and draft a runner. If he didn't get Teddy, he would look at Carr but who knows what went on to be honest.

Manziel is keeping his eyes downfield more than I thought he would but he's making those JFB throws that only work in college. He needs work especially understanding the difference in speed in the nfl but I wouldn't write him off just yet.
A Minnesota Viking will have a Minnesota Viking breakout game today and somewhere a Minnesota Viking fan will cheer a Minnesota Viking cheer. And they lived happily ever after,.......until the next game.
