I think they usually wait il the 2nd n 3rd games for that. But like you said....due to the newness of the WRs and guys coming back from injury, it wouldn't surprise me to see half a qtr or something like that.
At least two series would be nice... or one long series that resulted in an 80 yard drive and a TD.

Too bad you don't live on the west side of the state. The Quad-City Station (WHBF-4) is carrying it live. I can always tell when I have "football withdrawal." I get excited about pre-season games...

Same here... and then as I watch them, I remember how much less exciting they are than regular season games. I enjoy them anyway.
I t's cool that you'll get to watch the game live.

AD better not even see the field. Not even ne play. I assume the coaches are this smart.
Ponder should play the entire game. Cassell is neither better nor worse, so no big deal if ponder does get dinged up or a little bruise on his arm during pre season. If anyone needs reps with WRs and TEs its Ponder. To me he is EXACTLY where he was when he threw his first ball. The excuses wont work this year and he will be sidelined if he cant read basic coverages and throw a deep ball or 2.
I hope they give all the LBs a chance to play. The only one it would really hurt to lose is Greenway, so I hope he doesn't play too much.

Did they mention who will be inactive yet? Curious if Rhodes, Robinson, Raymond and Bishop will be playing.

Vikes at home 33-0 Walsh kicks 11 field goals 10 over 60 yds.
In a no win situation, I predict that if Ponder does well it will be called meaningless and if he doesn't play up to snuff he will be "blasted" .

No I want him in Detroit, thats it. The Chargers never played Tomlinson in preseason. Maybe a few carries in game 3 for AP, but thats all please.

Rhodes was already declaired out a few days ago.
Did Robocop have an injury? I'm assuming by Robinson you meant Robison DE?

It's always too short once it starts. I even used to ask my day why they don't play a longer season, and why no doubleheaders in football haha.

No, I meant Josh Robinson. He had a hamstring injury earlier.
