Not to mention you pretty much have to cut the guys production in half considering GB power passing offense with Aaron Rodgers to Run first Christian Ponder. How much is that really worth?

If we want any progression from Ponder, we need a #1 WR. Jennings fits that spot and his role can be replaced in several years. EVERYTHING doesn't follow the "value" mold. You still have to pony up and pay more at some positions than what you do at others.

Line up joe webb as a receiver: when he gets a pass, he can then opt to run the ball or pass it :)

i like it when the team can put on a strong running game and a stout defense, where anything substantial through the passing game is bonus noches. also, i'd rather see ponder put some pep in his step, being closer to gunslinger than soft prince....

Get denario alexander and heyward-bey at this point. They will be relatively cheap, and bey is fast and alexander is tall and quite quick.

The sad part is, we currently have no core to our corp.....

Jennings, Draft Pick, Simpson, Wright, Draft Pick will more than likely be our depth at WR going into week 1. Keep in mind that Kyle Rudolph has looked very promising. With our O-line and Felton back and AP in the backfield, our offense isn't easy to defend. Who knows how good our draft picks will end up being.

I think the best WR out there is Victor Cruz.

He's in his prime, he's an all-around threat: good route runner, great hands, good speed, big play ability.

Any team would be thrilled to get a player as good as him in the late first round. He's worth one of our 1st round picks to poach him from the Giants.

Whether he would want to play for the Vikes is another matter, though.

Completely agree.

WR:
#1 GJ
#2 JS
#3 JW

and then: Greg Childs, Stephen Burton, Chris Summers..

Things are looking interesting. I can't wait for the draft, I like the way our wr CORPS is shaping up. It will be great to see how we build on our depth at the position come April. TBH the top 3 here look pretty good with Rudolph and Carlson and Adrian Peterson. Things r looking up, this has the potential of being a very dangerous offense. I haven't been this excited since 98-99 for Vikings football.

What is this "corps" you speak of...? ;)
