Yes, 2k games were the best. Especially 2K5. I wish they could co exist, but everyone is a Madden lover. I am always excited for the game to come out, and then after a month or 2, it's just kinda there.

BTW, Madden 09 looks really good. Still, there are some glitches. If you guys get the game, and play with Minnesota, the best thing to do is test yourself with Tarvaris. I found if you throw a slant with him, he will generally do well. Be careful though, Tarvaris only has 78 accuarcy. Which IMO, is pretty stupid of EA. For some reason Booty has 89 TP and 86 TA. Who knows?

Hopefully that will get upgraded as the season progresses and they release a patch. Then the Vikings will be the new Patriots when it comes to online cheese.

But yeah, 2k5 was godly in the online league department. It was amazing. I miss the series too.

Alright, here is how my first season played out.

- Skill Levels: All Madden in Passing, All Pro in Rush Offense, All Pro in Rush Defense, and Pro in Pass Defense.
- I have a Madden IQ at about 560.
- I went 16-0 and won the Super Bowl.
- Tarvaris Jackson was the MVP after throwing 45 Touchdowns, and 13 INT's
- Bernard Berrian had over 2,000 yards receiving on 54 receptions, and 25 Touchdowns . He was the Offensive Player of the Year, and the Wide Receiver of the Year.
- Adrian Peterson rushed for 1,500 yards and 20+ touchdowns. He was the Running Back of the Year.
- Pat Williams had 18 Tackles for Loss, and 5 sacks. He was the Defensive Lineman of the Year.
- I broke numerous records with Bernard Berrian. Such as, Most Receiving yards in a season, most touchdowns in a season. Also, I broke a lot of game records too.

 Pretty good season.

The Madden 09 cover boy is why I didn't want the Vikings to trade for Favre. I can't say I believe in all that curse stuff, but it sure is strange that all the cover guys have been hurt or had bad seasons. One great year by Brett didn't make me feel comfortable seeing him in purple. The two years before that weren't that great.

I've not played it, but was told it's pretty much the same as last year, but with the updated rosters. Of course that's for playstation 2. So it might be a little different for the better consouls.

MY bro got madden for ps2 its NICE. I started my franchise im 3-0 ive only played vs packers (won 59-21) So im going to boost up the difficulty :P.

But yea i signed Daunte cut Bollinger NO BOOTY on Ps2 Version :(. I coudnt even find Favre for ANY TEAM so yea now im sad i coudnt kill him in the game xD. But yea first game vs pack

AP 11 Carries 115 Yards 3 TDs
Tjack 8-12 3 TDs 150+ Yards
Culpeper 5-11 3 TDS 100+
Ferrote 3-7 1 TD 1 INT

Decided since i was killing them so bad to put in my other guys and get some stats up :D. AND Rodgers threw 5 picks then got hurt! Then Brohm threw 2! LOL it was way to easy! So i jacked up difficulty up 2 spaces

I play Madden for Wii, and if you guys haven't tried it yet, it's fun as hell. You throw your hands up to catch passes, and move your arms to juke and stiff arm, etc. I don't have 09 yet, but my buddy does, and I hope to play it this weekend. I was hoping Tavaris would have a better rating this year as last year he wasn't rated very well and it showed up on the game play.

I noticed its hard to rack up sacks in 09. My first season is almost thru and Jared Allen has 2 sacks, Pat Williams has 2 sacks, Kevin Williams has zero! however the lowest rated guy on the line, Ray Edwards has 5 sacks? I usually play with Kevin or Pat when im on Defense and i still cant manage to get sacks. upsets me. but i do get alot of pressure and cause alot of picks. madieu williams has 6 ints, and winfield has 5, Sharper 3, Griffin 4.

And yes the game is good. presentation would be nice tho. like 2k5.
